ABS-CBN, GMA-7 both claim TV ratings leadership in March
THE COUNTRY?s top two networks again claimed leadership in television ratings for March, citing two different surveys they commissioned separately.
?The Kapamilya Network… had the most TV households tuned in last month, after garnering an average audience share of 44% from combined urban and rural homes versus GMA 7?s 35%,? ABS-CBN Corp. said in a statement over the weekend, citing data from Kantar Media.
GMA Network, Inc., which based its data on Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, said in a separate statement: ?For the period March 1 to 31 (with the dates of March 20 to 31 based on overnight data), GMA grabbed supremacy in National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) ratings with a 36.6 percent household audience share, beating ABS-CBN?s 36.1 percent and TV5?s 8.2 percent.?
