Ford Philippines sales surge in March


FORD Philippines on Monday said retail sales surged 46% in March, boosted by strong demand for its Everest, EcoSport, Ranger and Explorer vehicles.

In a statement, Ford Philippines said March sales stood at 2,746 units, bringing first-quarter sales to a new record of 7,876 units, a 49% increase from year-ago figures.

?Very healthy demand for our full lineup of Ford vehicles in the Philippines has continued throughout the first three months, particularly for our exciting choice of SUVs (sports utility vehicle) and Ranger pickup,? Lance Mosley, managing director of Ford Philippines, was quoted in the statement as saying.
