Tan Caktiong upbeat on Jollibee’s future in Hong Kong
Fastfood giant Jollibee Foods Corp. is scaling up its presence in Hong Kong to take advantage of the strong demand from Filipinos living there.
Jollibee last week opened its fourth store in Hong Kong and is eyeing to build 11 more in the next five years, the Hong Kong Economic Journal reported.
Its three other branches are in Mongkok (1) and Central (two).
Jollibee has increasingly been getting the attention of Hong Kong nationals because of its fried chicken.
It operates several other Asia-based fast food chains. It has retained exclusive rights to open Dunkin? Donuts locations in Hong Kong, Macau, and several mainland Chinese cities including Hunan, Fujian, Sichuan, Guangdong, Beijing, and others.
