Last hurrah: PSBank issues final call for clients to get EMV cards

This is the last chance for all buzzer beaters.

Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) has made a final call for depositors to show up and claim their new microchip-embedded cards before Sept. 1, 2017, or else face the inconvenience of getting their cards deactivated.

Just before the long weekend, bilyonaryo George Ty’s bank issued an advisory to remind their customers for the last time to come forward and claim their EMV-ready cards before any PSBank branch.

Their self-imposed timetable comes way ahead the June 2018 deadline set by the central bank to shift all debit and credit cards to the safer alternative.
