The wife of Luis Marcos Araneta is having her ultimate indulgence ? foie gras eaten at a 14th century chateau amidst 120 hectares of forest.
?The food specialties consist mainly of duck and goose and all things in between. Foie gras is my absolutely favorite indulgence, and they do not hold back on portions here. Pan fried goose liver. (My autocorrect kept insisting on spelling out “lover” instead of “liver”. Perhaps it knows what I feel in my heart. ) Foie gras with a good fruit compote or onion jam will forever and always be my most favorite indulgence. You know that feeling when you take a bite of your favorite food and your eyes want to pop out and roll to the back of your head at the same time? It makes you swoon as your heart palpitates with absolutely delight. Your taste buds feel as if they have exploded and have reached nirvana, they hug each other and cry with delight because of how beautiful the flavors are. That’s how I feel whenever I eat foie gras.
