EastWest completes P10B notes offer with fresh debt listing


This bank’s aggressive expansion plans will be fully funded with these fresh money.

East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) has floated another batch of long-term debt notes listed at the Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corporation (PDEx) on Thursday, Aug. 30.

The bank owned by the bilyonaryo Gotianun clan said they are offering P2.631 billion worth of long-term negotiable certificates of deposit (LTNCDs).

This completes EastWest’s P10-billion LTNCD program this year, with the offerings to mature by 2022.
