Alvarez cusses greedy Gokongwei for refusing to vacate NAIA 3: Gago, putang ina, ang kapal ng mukha!

House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez has had enough of bilyonaryo Lance Gokongwei’s insatiable drive to boost profits of Cebu Pacific at the expense of passengers.

Alvarez blew his top after Gokongwei refused to transfer Cebu Pacific’s domestic flights from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport III to Clark Airport in Pampanga within 45 days.

Alvarez claimed that Gokongwei packed NAIA 3 with both domestic and international flights even though it was only built o handle international flights. He said Gokongwei’s move to squeeze more profits at the expense of passenger comfort and travel efficiency has pushed traffic at NAIA 3 to 20 million passengers or double its capacity of 10 million passengers.

Ang kapal ng mukha,” said Alvarez in an ambush interview in Negros Oriental.

“At the end of the year ipa-publish pa kung ilang bilyon ang kinita. At the expense of the public?s safety, comfort and convenience. Tama ba yun? Or kung ano yung kita, ganansiya,” he added.

Gokongwei is asking for at least one year to transfer but Alvarez said 45 days was more than enough to relocate to Pampanga.

45 days is more than enough. Alam mo, computer na lahat ngayon. Kahit nga bukas puwede nang ilipat iyan,” said Alvarez.

Gokongwei claimed that some Cebu Pacific passengers have booked their flights one year in advance and could be affected by the relocation. But for Alvarez, this was a problem that Gokongwei has to solve.

Ang problema ng gobyerno, pangalagaan yung safety, comfort and convenience of the riding public.
