Duterte OKs Bulacan airport pitch from San Miguel
It’s a go!
Bilyonaryo Ramon S. Ang’s Bulacan Airport Project has been accepted and approved by the Duterte administration. The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board gave its nod on the project during its meeting on Wednesday, April 25.
San Miguel Corp. proposed a P735.6-billion project to build and operate a new airport in Bulacan as an alternative to the highly-congested Manila International Airport.
It will cover 2,500 hectares in Bulakan town, which includes a passenger terminal building and an 8.4-kilometer airport toll road. This is expected to cater to 100 million passengers annually.
Seven other projects were approved by the NEDA Board that day.
