ACR ranks among Asia Pacific?s fastest growing companies
Alcantara-led Alsons Consolidated Resources Inc. has been named among the fastest growing in the Asia Pacific region by the Financial Times.
FT partnered with German research firm Statista in coming up with the top 1000 basing the rankings on the percentage of revenue growth between 2013 and 2016 of over 14,000 companies spanning Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines.
ACR ranked fifth among only 26 Philippine-based companies that made it to the Financial Times list.
The companies registered revenues of at least $100,000 in 2013 and at least $1 million in 2016.
Financial Times noted that ACR racked up a 106 percent jump in revenue, a compounded annual growth rate of 27.3 percent between 2013 and 2016.
ACR chairman and president Tomas Alcantara said the company would continue to grow its businesses and remain steadfast in its commitment to provide safe, reliable and affordable power to Mindanao and eventually the Visayan region.
