Eagle Cement on track to complete third line in 2018

 

Eagle Cement is preparing to commission its third line in Bulacan this year which will expand its reach to the Southwestern Tagalog region and Bicol.

Company president Paul Ang said the new line would add two million metric tons to capacity and boost production capacity of its Bulacan plant to 7.1 million MT.

Ang said the firm is also working on its fourth production line in Cebu province, which will ramp up total capacity to 9.1 million MT when completed in 2020 and give it nationwiide presence.

Eagle, the country?s fourth largest cement maker, is owned by the family of tycoon Ramon S. Ang.
