After 20 years, Remullas to shut down Island Cove on July 28


The 36-hectare Mediterranean-inspired Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park (ICHLP) of the Remullas is shutting down next month after 20 years of operations.

“After 20 years of providing world-class leisure, recreation and celebrations. islands Cove Hotel and Leisire Park will close its doors and cease operations on July 28,” Island Cove said in a statement.

Facing increased pressure from other resorts, the family decided to close down the loss making operations of the leisure park located in Kawit, Cavite.

The Remullas have received offers from several groups to acquire Island Cove’s property but no deal has yet been reached with the interested parties.
