Concepcion appliance firm sees Q2 sales rising 14%
Concepcion Industrial Corp. said net earnings likely grew by 12 percent in the second quarter on strong consumer and commercial airconditioning markets.
CiC chairman abd CEO Raul Joseph A. Concepcion told reporters net sales were likewise seen to increase by 14 percent during the same period.
in his report to stockholders, Concepcion said CIC is keen on expanding beyond its core products.
“We continue to expand into more consumer appliances categories with over 1 million appliances sold in 2017,” Concepcion said.
Last year, the company started to look at new ventures to complement its business, potentially disrupting its already efficient processes.
CiC formed a new unit called CORTEX, which will incubate new technology and initiatives in developing new products and solutions for its clients.
