Lao family to build P2B state-of-the-art research center

Jadel Holdings Co. Inc., the parent firm of chemical and food ingredient manufacturer D&L Industries Inc, is investing P2 billion to construct an eight-storey LEED-certified research facility in Quezon City.

To be called Jadel Research Center (JRC), the project is envisioned to house new research initiatives in areas that are outside DNL?s current fields of research and ensure long-term growth by creating a new research pipeline. \

Targeted to be operational by 2021, JRC will have a gross floor area of 20,000 square meters. It aims to generate returns on investment by selling or licensing successfully developed technologies.

DNL has the option to be the licensee for customized products and technologies that are relevant and complementary to its existing business segments, while non-complementary products and technologies may be licensed to other companies outside of the D&L group.
