Miniso opens 60th PH store

 

Japanese low-cost retailer Miniso has further expanded its presence in the Philippines with the opening of its 60th store at SM Aura.

Established in Japan in 2013, Miniso has opened over 2,600 stores worldwide in the last four years and chalked up annual sales of $1.8 billion (1.55 billion euro).

Miniso, which mostly sells health and beauty products, gifts and accessories for home,

Jointly founded by designer Miyake Jyunya and Chinese entrepreneur Ye Guofu, Miniso is also present in Canada, Russia, Singapore, Dubai, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macao and the US.

Miniso is projected to expand its global footprint, opening up to 6,000 stores by 2020 and generating a combined revenue of $9 billion.
