Royal Air to fly daily to Puerto Princesa, Caticlan Cebu starting Nov.12

Royal Air, a registered air carrier in the Philippines, will soon mount daily flights to Puerto Princesa, Cebu, Caticlan, Tagbilaran, and San Vicente (Palawan) from the Clark International Airport.

The flights are scheduled to begin on Nov. 12, the Clark International Airport Corp. said.

?These new destinations promoting tourist attractions in the southern Philippines will definitely draw in more foreigners wanting to visit the country via Clark,? said Alex Cauguiran, president of CIAC.

Royal Air will be using the British Aerospace (BAe) AVRO 146-100 aircraft, a four-engine 97-seater regional airliner, for its daily service.

Clark airport currently hosts 436 flights per week with 274 domestic and 162 international flights. It records an average of 7,000 passengers daily.

As of Sept. 17, the airport already serviced a total of 1.8 million passengers.
