The race is on: Will Smart, Globe offer eSIMs for new iPhones?

 

Will the duopoly budge given Apple’s new technology?

Economist Nicky Franco is riding the hype on the newest iPhones revealed by the California-based tech firm this September. The newly-minted iPhone XS and XS Max will come with the eSIM, which does away witth the need for physical cards in order to run the phone.

“It will be interesting to find out who between @talk2GLOBE and @LiveSmart will be the first to support eSIMs for the new iPhone,” Franco said.
