GSIS to shut down Pasig office

This is the agency’s way to cut costs.

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) made an early advisory that they will shut down their extension office in Pasig City by December.

In a statement, the state pension fund for government employees said it will consolidate operations to its headquarters in Pasay City.

This is to “improve administrative efficiency and reduce cost,” according to GSIS President and General Manager Jesus Clint Aranas.

To make amends, GSIS said they will put up service desks around Metro Manila and Rizal, and is also in talks with the Gokongwei group to set up desks in select Robinsons malls.
