PDIC selling P3B worth of assets in ExportBank Plaza

This bank is selling big-ticket items in one go.

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC) is putting numerous properties previously owned by the defunct Export and Industry Bank and its subsidiary Urbancorp Technologies Corp. on the auction block.

PDIC’s goal is to raise at least P3.1 billion from the sale of commercial and office units at the ExportBank Plaza in Makati City. The bidding was scheduled on Dec. 6.

The units are priced at PhP3.9 million to P321.04 million each. They will be sold together with their respective parking slots.

One bundle covers the entire ground floor with an area of 1,618 square meters and 24 parking slots worth at least P233 million. The space is occupied by a bank, a fastfood outlet, and a convenience store.

Also for sale is the 37th floor plus penthouse encompassing 1,460 sq.m. worth around P240.96 million.

The catch: these units will be sold on an ?as is, where is? basis.
