UP Lady Fighting Maroons mourn death of United Auctioneers founder Dominic Sytin


The University of the Philippines women’s volleyball team is mourning the loss of United Auctioneers founder and CEO Dominic Sytin, who was shot to death past 7 pm Wednesday by riding-in-tandem gunmen.

Sytin was an alumnus of UP and a major supporter of the UP Lady Fighting Maroons.

The 50-year old Sytin was the principal shareholder of LMG Chemicals Corp. for P405 million in October last year. He headed the first and only industrial auction company, United Auctioneers, an industrial auction company based in in Subic Bay. United Auctioneers sells industrial machines, trucks and other miscellaneous equipment from Japan, Europe and the US.
