Tacloban port hits record collections, rakes in P1B revenues

What a turnaround!

The Bureau of Customs proudly hailed the Port of Tacloban for a job well done so far this year, with collections skyrocketing to an all-time high.

The bureau said the Tacloban port has collected P1.006 billion total revenues as of Nov. 29, coming from the operations of the Sub-ports of Isabel and Catbalogan City.

This is triple the P321 million target set for 2018. The milestone has already been reached as early as the end of the second quarter.
