Destabilizer? Teddyboy lauds Tony Tan Caktiong’s Jollibee as greatest PH ambassador of goodwill

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddyboy Locsin thinks bilyonaryo Tony Tancaktiong does not only sell Chickenjoys in his invasion of fastfood markets, he also brings Filipino goodwill overseas.

“Jollibee is the greatest Philippine ambassador of goodwill after Philippine Airlines,” said Locsin on Twitter.
Locsin was commenting on a photo tweeted by Caramelle Pabillore (@Jc_jaycee) showing him holding a barrel of Chickenjoy in a meeting in New York. (Jollibee opened its Manhattan branch last year).

Locsin gave his lavish praise just a few hours after presidential son Pulong Duterte posted on Facebook a list of 48 individuals and corporations, including Jollibee, allegedly backing the “Oust Duterte Movement.”

Jollibee has been at the receiving end of President Rodrigo Duterte’s campaign promise to stop “endo” or labor contracting in the Philippines. It topped the list of companies with the most endo workers at 14,960.

Interestingly, the second and third top endo employers – Dole Philippines with 10,521 and PLDT with 8,310 – are also on Pulong’s list of alleged destabilizers.

Anyway, Locsin is not the only Cabinet member who thinks Jollibee is awesome. Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez and economic managers raved about Jollibee’s new branch in London.

Even the President himself wolfed down a piece of Chickenjoy during a visit to Hong Kong last April.
