A leader of the Kabus Padatoon (KAPA) Ministry International Inc. is claiming it has 10 million believers who are getting 30 percent monthly returns or “love gifts” or “blessings” on their investments or “donations” and not one of them are complaining.

KAPA spokesperson Danny Mangahas claimed that only the “oligarchs, banks, and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry” were complaining about their get-rich quick scheme for poor Filipinos, including overseas Filipino workers.

“Sino ba ang nagrereklamo? Mga oligarko, ‘yung mga tinatamaan ng KAPA, ‘yung mga banko, ‘yung PCCI, na sila mismo ang nauunang magreklamo sa Mindanao,” Mangahas said in a press conference.

“Sila ang nagasasabi na ang KAPA ay scam. Bakit kamo? Dahil tinatamaan ba ang negosyo nila?” he added.

“Umaapela kami, bakit ganoon. Masama ba tumulong ang isang religious organization sa mga mahibirap? Ano ang basehan nila para ipahold ang mga liabilities ng 10 milyon na miyembro ng KAPA,” said Mangahas amid the raids on KAPA offices and the house of its founder, Pastor Joel Apolinario.
