Bianca Elizalde recalls memories of the California sun
Restaurateur and wife of media mogul Juan Elizalde is out and about, at least on her recent Instagram update.
“You can take the girl out of the mountains, but you can never take the mountains out of the girl,” Bianca Elizalde wrote. According to the self-professed anti-city girl, she may be back from her two-month vacation in California but mentally, she feels 7,211 miles away where she is enjoying summer hikes, waterfalls, and redwoods.
But for now, work is calling and school of her four children has started. So the socialite has tucked her self at home in front of a laptop as she goes through her camera roll and selects pictures she wants to share on social media. First photo up is her facing the sun after a beautiful hike at the Los Padres National Forest.

You can take the girl out of the mountains, but you can never take the mountains out of the girl. ⠀⠀ 〰️〰️〰️ ⠀⠀ It’s 5:30am as I started typing this, the sun is hiding and the earth beneath my feet is wet. A stark difference from what you see here 👆🏻 and my little muppet @good.grover has finally gotten over his hesitance for walking on soggy grass. After two months of fully immersing myself in nature and the great outdoors of California- a MUCH needed reprieve from city living for an anti-citygirl like myself, I am back home and already mourning the end of our summer. But my email is frothing over (🥴), there’s work to be done and school has begun. My whole being however, seems to be lingering in limbo, still neither here nor there. I reckon it’s the jet lag. At least, that’s what I’m trying to convince myself it is. Physically, I am seated in front of my desktop…searching for inspiration whilst editing photos for work. Mentally I am here, 7,211 miles away, losing myself in the memories of summer hikes, waterfalls and redwoods. There are still sooo many photos i’d like to share here, and I can’t wait to relive all those steps once again…so I’ll start with this photo right here, taken at sundown, post hike at the Los Padres National Forest. ⠀⠀ 〰️〰️〰️ ⠀⠀ Peace out, west coast! There’s still so much of you I am dying to explore. . . . . #thesuniscalling #thegreatoutdoors #keepitwild #visualwanderlust #optoutside #theoutbound #mytinyatlas #wanderfolk #roamtheplanet
