Lisa Macuja witnesses Hong Kong’s resistance to China
The prima ballerina wife of business magnate Fred Elizalde was right next door where the protests were happening during her trip.
“It’s right next door! Bracing for the weekend here in Hongkong @asiangrandprix It is really not as bad as it seems. Business as usual on the second to the last day of our Ballet Intensive Program
” @lisamacuja said during her stay at the Harbor Plaza North Point.
During her return trip home, she was again caught in the middle when the airport protests happened.
“Am 3 hours early for my flight back to Manila and just wanted to assure everyone back home who are making their way to Hongkong’s @asiangrandprix finals that the airport protests are peaceful. Keep safe! One more Ballet Intensive Program and Asian Ballet Competition successfully done!” @lisamacuja said.
Keep safe, Lisa! #
