This is where Panda Express will open its first PH store
Heads up orange chicken fanatics. The long wait may soon be over.
Construction of the first Philippine branch of American fast-casual Chinese chain Panda Express is officially underway.
The iconic Panda Express logo was spotted at DoubleDragon Meridian Park, a 4.75 hectare prime commercial block along the Bay area in Pasay City.
Panda Express is entering the Philippine market in partnership with fastfood giant Jollibee Foods Corp. From a single restaurant in California, Panda Express now has over 2,100 outlets in 13 countries with systemwide sales of $3.3 billion.
The partnership intends to initially build five branches in Metro Manila.
Aside from its original orange chicken, Panda Express is also known for its honey walnut shrimp, Shanghai angus steak and sweet fire chicken breast.
